Keeper of Autumn
Keeper of Autumn is #7 in my Keeper series. Each of these dragons is inspired by a different element or concept, and features colors and adornments that represent that element.
Keepers are 5” from the top of their horns to their front feet and have a 16” wingspan. They are sewn from my original pattern out of one fat quarter of batik fabric, with wings, tail frill, belly, and ears painted with iridescent acrylics. The eyes are painted polymer clay. Claws and spikes are made from 3D fabric paint, and further embellishments are created with seed beads. Keepers have a wire armature that can be gently posed. Even the toes and the fingers of her wings have wire in them.
